The goal of the Milwaukee Video Project (MVP) is to attract and retain professionals into the Milwaukee area. We also hope to find companies who would employ those professionals. It is designed to enlighten persons both inside and outside the greater Milwaukee area as to the wonderful features of our city. It will show how Milwaukee’s inhabitants live, work, play and learn throughout the greater metropolitan area.

  1. Individuals and families wondering if they should move to Milwaukee
  2. Companies considering Milwaukee as a relocation target
  3. Individuals who live in the Milwaukee area and want to get to know their hometown even better.

The videos show Milwaukee as a Technology savvy city and communicates this by filming small, medium and large Milwaukee area companies whose products and services utilize technology with efficiency and innovation.

The secondary focus of the piece is to open people’s eyes to Milwaukee’s “cool” side. Visions of sporting events, art, theatre, music, and other cultural and exciting goings-on will show the viewer that Milwaukee is an exhilarating and progressive city and has all the amenities that are expected of a thriving metropolis.

  • Interviews with young techno-savvy employers and employees who talk about what they love about Milwaukee
  • Visions of “cool” Milwaukee companies conducting exciting work
  • Visions of traditional and famous Milwaukee companies doing business but using technology. (e.g. NML’s operations room, Harley designing new motorcycles via computer, etc.)

  • The main way this video is seen is via Streaming Video on the Internet.
